Support and 24-hour nursing care for adults with complex medical and mental health needs.

Around the clock specialist, person-centred, nursing care for adults living with complex physical and mental health needs.

Individual needs

From the point of admission, our care team spend time getting to know each service user as an individual. We prioritise independence by making sure we fully understand what the person needs and wants, and we tailor our approach to match. Our aim is to support people to live well, with dignity and respect.

A person-centred plan

We listen to our service users to learn what makes them feel happy, safe and comfortable. Finding out what they love, and what they don’t, helps us to see from their perspective. We use this understanding to create plans that meet their needs and support them to thrive.

At Willowbrook, our care plans focus on the ideal outcomes for each person. They are also designed to flex and adapt, as people’s needs can change over time. We provide a full picture of support that considers physical activities and tailored nutrition as well as opportunities for social interaction.

Here, the care plan is as unique as the person.

It’s more
than care.

As well as specialist nursing and care staff, we have dedicated teams for activities and complementary therapies. Our service users have access to calming treatments like massage and aromatherapy. We also offer thoughtfully planned experiences including arts and crafts, games, and social events. We encourage loved ones to attend as frequently as you can.

Dementia Care

We understand dementia and the complexities of its various subtypes. Our team are experienced in working with people who live with this condition and care deeply about supporting them to feel safe and live comfortably at Willowbrook.

We do everything we can to reduce the stress and anxiety that can often accompany dementia’s progressive symptoms. Our service users’ wishes are respected, and their dignity is our priority.

Mental Health
Care

Our highly trained healthcare staff and registered nurses are experienced in mental health care for adults. Our support strategies are designed to address the psychological, social, and emotional well-being of the people we care for.

Tailored measures are put in place to prioritise safety and comfort, making sure our service users feel settled and calm in their environment.

Physical
Disability &
Rehabilitation

For adults who are in rehabilitation after an injury to their body or brain and those living with physical disabilities, we offer care and support to help them on their journey.

We can provide long term care as well as supporting people with shorter term needs to prepare for returning home.

Complex Nursing

We have an experienced team of healthcare professionals and medical nurses who provide 24-hour personal care for people living with complex physical health needs.  Our highly trained and fully qualified staff put time and care into making sure our residents are well supported, comfortable and safe at all times.

Degenerative Conditions

We understand the complexities and challenges of degenerative conditions.  Our team are here to support and care for adults, adapting care as someone’s needs and abilities change as their condition deteriorates.

We champion independence, but ensure 24-hour care is available to keep people comfortable.
